The Movies at the River

Our first year performing
at the Clam Jam - August, 2008. Also appearing were Triple Shot, Blind Willy & The Funsters.
2008 was the first
year for The Movies to perform for the Milton Park Summer Concert series.
Our second year of
performing at Walter Reed Hospital - Mologne House - for the wounded troops. Tim McGraw's band would show up and
do a set as well.

2007
Playing outside
on a windy & rather chilly day in early November 2007 for the DCAG car show, a fund raiser for the wounded
at Walter Reed. The event was held near Milford at M.V. Stevens car lot.
The Movies debut at
The Shawnee Country Club inMilford, early fall of 2007. That's Mr. Clay West jamming with us on his red guitar.
The Movies also debuted
at Legion Post 28 in 2007.

Father's Day 2007
was our first event at Walter Reed Hospital - Mologne House - with the DCAG organization. Also a great pulled pork & chicken
picnic & an antique car show. It was an unforgettable event playing for our recovering wounded.

Though we had
played together in several other bands prior to The Movies, November of 2006 marked the 25th anniversary of the forming of
this band. We decided to have a reunion and the party at the Lighthouse in Lewes was a blast with a very large attendance
of both old & new friends. Ten years had passed since we had disbanded the "Movie" name & done separate
projects. Once again we found that the musical chemistry was still there. That evening we were also joined by former "Movie
Chuck Sapp on sax, Greg Ellingsworth on vocals and Dave Jarrel, who did sound for the band. It was a great night.
